Collections & Albums

Create a smart collection

1. Open the Quick Filter drawer (⇧⌘F) and click New Collection in the Collections card.
2. Name it, then add rules — the same attributes and operators as Advanced Filter, with ALL/ANY groups.
3. Click Create. The collection stays up to date as you tag and rate.

Collections and the Advanced Filter work together

1. To keep a live Advanced Filter, click Save as Collection… in the drawer header.
2. Right-click a collection for Edit as Advanced Filter…, Edit Collection…, or Delete Collection.

Albums — hand-picked playlists

1. Select videos, right-click, and choose New Album from Selection… — or New Album in the drawer for an empty one.
2. Add more with right-click → Add to Album.
3. With Sort → Album Order, drag cards or rows to rearrange.
4. Right-click a video to Remove it from the album, or right-click the album to rename or delete it.

Removing a video from an album never touches the file. Play All uses Album Order when that sort is active.
